Vikings quarterback Kirk Cousins earned the NFC Offensive Player of the Month award for October.

Cousins went 91-of-116 (78.4%) for 1,262 yards in October, scoring 10 touchdowns, and throwing one interception (which was entirely Stefon Diggs’ fault), earning a passer rating of 137.1 while leading the Vikings to a perfect 4-0 record.

Cousins lead the NFL with a 78.4 completion percentage and his 10 touchdown passes tied for the league lead. His 137.1 passer rating in October marked the second-highest passer rating in any month in NFL history (minimum 100 attempts), trailing only Peyton Manning’s 138.0 passer rating in September of 2013.

That’s quite a contrast to the criticism he earned for his play against the Packers and the Bears during the first quarter of the season.

And for that, Cousins be like:

Eric Kendricks Wins PFF Player Of The Month

It looks like Eric Kendricks‘ superb play is no longer being overlooked. Pro Football Focus has named him NFC Defensive Player of the Month along with Cousins for NFC Offensive Player of the Month, noting:

Kendricks was an all-around star in the middle of the Vikings’ defense with run defense, coverage and pass-rushing grades all above 80.0. He recorded 11 pressures (most of any off-ball linebacker), seven pass breakups (five more than any other linebacker) and did not miss a single tackle in run defense.

Dan Bailey Wins NFC Special Teams Player Of The Week…Again

Vikings kicker Dan Bailey earned his second NFC Special Teams Player of the Week award this season for his performance against the Washington Redskins.

Bailey nailed four field goals (one of which was a 50-yarder) and one extra point during the Vikings’ 19-9 victory over Washington.

Bailey previously won the same honors for his performance against the Giants, when he also kicked four field goals.

Vikings punter Britton Colquitt, who places the ball on field goals, was quick to “congratulation” Bailey on his accomplishment.
