Speaking Of X-avier

Literally.

Am I the only one who is a little annoyed at the pronounciation of Xavier Rhodes‘ first name?

Yeah, yeah, I get it: You should honor someone’s desire to pronounce their name the way they want it pronounced.

And judging from the way all the media commentators are tripping over themselves emphasizing the X when saying Rhodes’ name, it’s clear he wants it pronounced that way.

But still, it’s kinda silly. Xavier is pronounced with a Z, not ECK-zay-vee-ehr.
